Is the Snowflake Challenge happening this year?

Golden and Triple Snowflake Challenges will be on pause for the 2026 season. We apologize
for those of you that have done it in the past however, we are will be holding
the event on one day this year which doesn't allow participants to run both
events.

What are the details on the Loyalty Club?

If you are a Penguin Member or a potential Penguin member, don't worry we will be
honoring all loyalty program participants and are continuing with the program.
If you have run the race 2 years in a row or more than 3 years, you qualify for
the Penguin Club.

New this year, since we know there are participants that ran in 2024 but not in
2025 due to the venue change, we will be honoring those for missed the 2025
race.

What do I receive with my registration?

Each registered participant and finisher will receive the following:

Race bib, official timing chip and an ugly sweater T-shirt

Water, electrolyte & sports gel along the course

Refreshments and water at the finish line

Finisher’s medal when you cross the finish line

When and where can I pick up my race packet?

All race participants are required to pick up their race packet (including their
race bib) prior to the race.

What do I need to bring with me to pick up my packet?

All participants are required to pick up their race packet prior to the race. Participants must bring their ID and their
QR Code to expedite the pick-up process. QR codes will be emailed to
participants the day before the Expo opens.

Are strollers allowed in the race?

Yes, strollers are allowed in all race distances but we require that those participating with a stroller start in the
final corral for the safety of the other participants.

Are dogs allowed on the course?

Unfortunately, our furry friends are not allowed on the course.

Can I get dropped off at the start line?

Yes, if you are planning to get dropped off please use the following address (100 W McKinley Ave, Pomona Ca). Please note that this is a drop off zone only, you will not be allowed to park.

Event Parking

Parking for the event will be located at the Fairplex in Pomona at Blue gate 9 located at 2118 N White Ave, Pomona Ca. From there you will be directed to the finish line.

Is this event compatible for handcycle or wheelchair participants?

Yes, the half marathon and 5K events are compatible for handcycle or wheelchair participants.

Is the Holiday Half Marathon course certified?

Yes, the half marathon course is certified by the USATF.

Running Club and Charity Plan

We encourage all running clubs and charities to join us in the Holiday Half Marathon. One of our goals is to bring community groups together and help raise funds and awareness. If you wish to become one
of our official groups, please email us at info@runlegacyevents.com and you
will receive a code for either 10% off registration or you can have your
members sign up using the code and the group will receive 10% donation at the
