COURSE INFORMATION- Half Marathon

The Half Marathon starts and finishes in the main plaza of  Fairplex So Cal, home of the LA County Fair . The scenic course takes runners on a  “behind the scenes” tour of various parts of the Fair and then at Mile 2 heads right down the world famous  Auto Club Raceway at Pomona– currently hosting Auto Club NHRA World Finals. It then leaves the fairgrounds and heads out into the beautiful Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, around Puddingstone Lake for miles 3 through 11. The last 2 miles are back on the Fairgrounds going past the Historic Trains near the Flower Garden Pavilion – and the NHRA Mortorsports Museum before finishing in the central plaza.

Hills

The Pomona Valley is a naturally hilly landscape and while certain inclines could not be avoided, this course was designed to be as friendly to runners as possible.
